I am Nathanson Seaman Watt’s newest lawyer. I graduated from Dalhousie in 2013 and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2014. My background ranges from teaching English literature at Marianopolis College in Montreal, to teaching English as a Second Language in South Korea, to being a stay-at-home-mom. I focus mostly on family law, a focus that requires a great deal of creativity and complex problem solving. It is important to me to help my clients through an often highly emotional and deeply traumatic point in their lives. Whether that help comes in the form of a mutually satisfactory agreement or a highly contested court battle, I strive to provide my clients with support, guidance, and zealous advocacy. I also practise real estate law and I enjoy assisting my clients to finalize that big sale, or to pass them the keys to their new home. Real estate is an area of law that carries a lot of responsibility and often a great deal of happiness.
John MacMillan has a general practice. John works in the areas of personal injury, wills and estates, and corporate/commercial law as well as in family and divorce law.
